This is a large blotter, 4" X 9 1/2", gifted to customers by
EMIL V. VALENTA
, who obviously had an upscale clothing store in
ELBERON, IOWA
.  He proudly advertises
"THE BORN LABEL"
and notes the clothing is
"TAILORED TO MEASURE BY BORN"
.
The 2 ladies featured are, although unknown now, were quite familiar to the clientele a century ago.  Both were silent film stars:
ELSIE FERGUSON
BARBARA CASTLETON
Their inclusion broadens the appeal of this advertising item.
