Description

Bausch & Lomb  Stereo ZOOM  Microscope. (3.5 to 120 X).
The basic optics pod is 0.7 to 3 X.
With the 10X eyepieces it gives 7 to 30 X.
With the 20X eyepieces it gives 14 to 60 X.
The microscope also includes 2 Objective lens' to change the magnification and
working distance.
There is a 0.5 objective lens that gives long working distance and 3.5 to 15 X with the 10 X eyepieces.
There is a 2.0 objective lens that gives a 2X multiplier with the 10X
eyepieces, (7 - 30) x 2 = 14 to 60 X.
The
2.0 objective gives a 2X multiplier with the 20X
eyepieces, (14 to 60) x 2 = 28 to 120 X.
(The 2.0 objective is slightly cracked on the side but the crack is not in the optic path).
One of the 10X eyepieces has a 0.0 to 0.1 inch reticule that is calibrated when the Zoom is
set at 2.0. The photo above shows a typical photomicrograph, Each 'Tick' mark is 0.002 inches.
It does not come with a camera. You can just take pictures with your Smart Phone.
The exact measuring system is calibrated using the AO 1400 calibration slide.
