    bidding on a tested Phipps & Bird model 236A resistance substitution box.
    This little box lets you select among hundreds of resistance values for electronic circuit design and testing.  28 switches allow any combination of the resistance values shown in the first photo ranging from a low of 1 ohm to a maximum of over 10 megohms.  Much easier than cobbling together a set of series resistors even if you have the values you need.
    This box has been tested and works fine.
