Vintage GEAR REDUCTION UNIT by Western Gear Works, 100:1 COMMERCIAL, Heavy Duty

This is an amazing beast of a piece of machinery!
This unit came from a local lumber mill that had been around since back in the early days of logging up here in Southern Oregon, but the mill eventually closed down in the 1990’s.
I am not sure what it was used for at the mill, but it was something big.
This very rare unit would be fantastic for use as a logging winch, at a mill, on some sort of monster piece of equipment, or wherever you want a REALLY stout winch or gear reduction unit.
You can also run it in reverse and gear up the speed of the output shaft if you want to.
I looked on the net at a few other gear reduction units, but could only find one that was not nearly as large, and it was priced at over ,000!
Judging by the price of that one, I would guess that the one that I am selling here would list far beyond ,000 when new.
I don’t have a use for it, so I am selling it really cheap.  I just want to find a good home for it where someone can use it.
It is practically indestructible and has an almost unlimited number of uses where a super heavy duty unit like this would be needed.
I can band it to a pallet and deliver it to you through a local trucking company, or you can come pick up yourself if you prefer.
